Hundreds of children in England suffer from obesity

child obesityThis is a rather surprising conclusion. In England, hundreds of children and even infants suffer from obesity. There is even a child who has suffered a stroke at the age of six years.

Based on data published by the freedom of Action Information, 66 of 168 hospitals in England, over the past five years, there are 5 500 children under the age of 16 who are treated by obesity. According to The Telegraph, the children underwent surgery as the gastric bypass and gastric surgery to reduce obesity.

These data, there is a case where a 15 year old boy kilograms 156 has been treated in North Staffordshire, England before being taken to the Mexico for surgery of the stomach. In addition, the family also had to follow a healthy diet.

"I have dealt with children aged two years, and we know most often are patients in a very young age, said Dr. Ken NGOs of the Addenbrooke hospital in Cambridge, England."

Those arriving at the hospital were patients who had suffered extreme obesity. However, there are many more children who are obese in the community who have not been reported.

It is thought generally would be overweight as a child and that it will normally grow in the future. However, according to a study in the Addenbroke hospital, children continue to suffer from obesity until they become adults and even tends to get worse.
